Chantal Bonitto
Chantal Bonitto (she/her), Senior Consultant, is the Senior Managing Director, Principal Gifts, UNICEF USA. Most recently she was the founding Director of Inclusive Philanthropy at Planned Parenthood Federation of America and Planned Parenthood Action Fund. She created that program with an intentional focus on next-gen philanthropists and donors of color. Chantal is an organizational leader in the space of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and a seasoned fund development expert in the nonprofit sector. Her career has been dedicated to identifying and creating resources for institutions that benefit the most marginalized communities in our society. As a fundraiser, she has fostered many skills including, Major & Principal Gifts, Direct Response, Community Engagement/Stewardship, and Fundraising Events Planning.
Beyond her role at UNICEF, she serves as a Senior Consultant for the Inclusion Firm; She is on the Boards of Community Resource Exchange (CRE) and Women in Development (WID) New York. She is also on the Advisory Committee for WOC: Women of Color in Fundraising and Philanthropy and is a co-creator of Women Writing Philanthropy: Writing Clinic Program with the Feminist Press. Professionally, Chantal has worked on behalf of organizations such as Women Moving Millions, The Thomson Reuters Foundation, Ms. Foundation for Women, CARE USA, Asia Society, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. She is a graduate of Oberlin College, a recipient of the Fundraising Strategy Certificate Program at The George Heyman, Jr. Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising, New York University and a 21/64 Certified Philanthropic Advisor. Finally, she was selected to join the inaugural Leadership Network of the Amplify Her Foundation in 2023.
