Justin Gibson
Justin Gibson (he/him), Senior Consultant, is the Director of Development for the Lindner College of Business for the University of Cincinnati Foundation. In his previous role as Program Director for Diversity Outreach and Engagement, he has developed award-winning strategies for engaging underrepresented and historically marginalized communities of alumni and donors. As a Certified Diversity Professional, accredited by the National Diversity Council, he has used his expertise in the areas of marketing and communications to help organizations create pathways to engagement for historically marginalized and underrepresented communities. Justin also serves as an at-large member of the CASE District V cabinet and DEIB liaison. Through his involvement in CASE, he has traveled the country to train advancement professionals about the juxtaposition of inclusive excellence and alumni relations/development.
Outside of his work responsibilities, he is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., where is also a member of the PBS Impact Foundation, Inc. board of directors. Justin earned his BBA in marketing from the University of Cincinnati and MBA with a concentration in management from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in Urban Educational Leadership at the University of Cincinnati with a concentration in higher education. His research interests are the intersection of DEIB and institutional advancement.
A sought-out speaker and trainer, Justin draws upon scholarly research, industry best practices, and his own experiences as a first-generation college student to create meaningful educational experiences. His work has been featured in magazines and other news outlets.
